COLOR FLIP

A bodega transformed into an experience.

Los Angeles, California (2019)

The project was not housed in a formal gallery but in an old market turned into a color field installation that runs from the front facade to the inside of the store. It featured photographs of Puerto Rican skateboarders by Luis Ferrá, with color interventions by Sofia.

Once inside the bodega, attendees became part of the art piece and were treated to a program highlighting the neighborhood's soul and spirit. Ultimately, the space will become a creative community hub, a space for local families to gather, and a launchpad for other local projects, such as @All_ebt headquarters.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference. Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sounds like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
